Camera repair

Cameras fail just like any electro-optical device. Viconsys has a camera service program which will guarantee you a fixed service cost for a repairable camera and a short, fixed delivery time. Currently we undertake to service the following camera models:

• Sony 370, typical of older Hilcont systems
• Ikegami 47, typical of later Hilcont systems

Ask for a quotation and detailed delivery description.

The feasibility of making repairs depends on the camera’s condition. Sometimes cameras are so badly damaged, e.g. mechanically broken, or put out of action as a result of exposure to extreme heat or water, that they may be non-repairable. Our service personnel will first examine the camera and then inform you by return whether repair is possible. If a camera cannot be repaired, you can take advantage of our replacement camera service.

In an emergency, do bear in mind that we keep a stock of repaired cameras which we can deliver immediately. You then send us the defective camera as an exchange unit.
